Homeowners with natural gas, oil, propane, electric and wood-stove heated homes in the Union Gas program area.
To participate, you must get an energy assessment of your home before and after your renovation by a certified energy advisor who will suggest how you can make improvements to your home’s energy efficiency. You will need to implement at least two energy upgrades to receive incentives.
Up to $5,000 in energy efficiency rebates for home improvements such as new insulation, windows, air sealing, water heaters, furnaces and boilers through the Union Gas Home Reno Rebate. If you complete more than two of these upgrades you'll qualify for an extra $250 rebate for each additional improvement. Your rebate will also include $600 towards the cost of the pre- and post-renovation assessments completed for your home.

You could also receive between $500 to $5,800 for eligible air source heat pumps depending on your existing fuel source.
This program is delivered by Union Gas in partnership with the Green Ontario Fund and Save on Energy.
