If you’ve been looking for ways to save money on energy costs and reduce the carbon footprint of your home, here's a new program to make it a whole lot easier.
If you are a homeowner or renter living in single-detached, semi-detached, townhome or row home, you are eligible to take part in the program. If you rent, you will be contacted about submitting a landlord consent form. Likewise, if you are an owner or manager of a rental property you will need your tenant's permission to participate. Residents living in multi-residential buildings are not eligible to take part in the GreenON Installations program. Existing smart thermostats cannot be replaced through this program.
Sign up for the GreenON Installations program and a program representative will come to your home, install a smart thermostat and show you how to use it. He or she will also provide you with customized low carbon, energy-saving solutions for your home.
GreenON Installations program representatives will only visit your home when an appointment has been made. No program representatives will come to your house without your consent. Program representatives will be reaching out throughout the Fall for 2017 installations. When you are contacted will depend on when you applied and the availability of contractors in your area.
Register for the program online below or by contacting our call centre.
